Forest of Arden nominated for six prestigious golf industry awards

Host for the Farmfoods European Senior Masters, the Forest of Arden Marriot Hotel & Country Club have been nominated for six awards at the prestigious 59club Service Excellence Awards.

 

The awards, otherwise described as the “Golf Industry Oscars”, have a total of sixteen different categories where the world’s best golfing hotels and destinations compete for industry honours.

 

The Forest of Arden Marriot Hotel & Country Club have been nominated for the following six awards, including well deserved individual nominations for Director of Golf Fraser Liston and Food & Beverage Manager Tinicka Young.

 

Golf Sales Team of the Year:
Breadsall Priory, Forest of Arden, Hollins Hall, Mottram Hall, The Belfry Hotel & Resort and The Grove.

 

Golf Operation Team of the Year - Under £75 green fee:
Belton Woods, Breadsall Priory, Forest of Arden (Aylesford Course), Forest Pines, Rockliffe Hall and Worsley Park.

 

Golf Operation Team of the Year - Over £75 green fee:
Celtic Manor 2010, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Forest of Arden (Arden Course), Monte Rei, The Grove and Trump International Golf Club, Dubai.

 

Golf Group of the Year:
Arabella Golf, Dubai Golf, Foxhills / Farleigh Collection and Marriott Golf.

 

Food and Beverage Manager of the Year - Over £75 green fee:
Bernat Llobera (Son Vida), Bruno Flores (Monte Rei), Candice Hall (Royal GC Bahrain), Desi Peykova (Trump International Golf Club, Dubai), Houssem Belabed (Gleneagles) and Tinicka Young (Forest of Arden).

 

Golf Manager of the Year - Under £75 green fee:
Fraser Liston (Forest Of Arden: Aylesford), Giovanni Malcotti (Castelconturbia), Jonny Mould (Slaley Hall), Jon Stacey (Rockliffe Hall), Stephen Hindle (Worsley Park) and Steve Turner (Breadsall Priory).
