Veteran Brazilian and his team clinch 97-point victory at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club.
The Champions UK plc European Senior Masters in association with Equals Money, taking place this week from 6-9 November 2025 at La Manga Club in Spain’s Costa Cálida region, has kicked off in typical thrilling fashion.
Day one of the event saw former European Tour star Adilson da Silva emerge victorious alongside his teammates after posting a group score of 97 points across the south course. Silva and co sat in pole position, just one and two points ahead of groups led by Swede Mikael Lundberg and Englishman Mark Ashworth respectively.

· 2nd: Mikael Lundberg, Mike Norris, Jess Tennent, Neil Muller – 96
· 3rd: Mark Ashworth, Phillip Ashworth, Alex Ashworth, Howard Rishton – 95
With the tournament’s Pro-Am competition complete, spectators will now be looking ahead to Legends Tour action with the Alliance Draw taking place from November 7-9. Players across the card will be aiming to round their respective tours off in style, with the Champions UK plc European Senior Masters, in association with Equals Money, acting as the preantepenultimate fixture in the calendar.
