Birmingham Mail have joined forces with the Farmfoods European Senior Masters, becoming the event’s Regional Media Partner.
The deal will see the Mail closely cover the Farmfoods European Senior Masters during its debut on the European Senior Tour at the end of the month, bringing top-tier golf back to the region for the first time in over a decade.
Taking place between 19-22 October 2017 at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Birmingham, the inaugural edition of the tournament is set to attract the biggest names on the European Senior Tour.
Already confirmed to appear across the week are former Masters champion and 2017 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee, Ian Woosnam OBE, six-time Ryder Cup winner Paul McGinley, 2002 Ryder Cup captain Sam Torrance OBE and Wolverhampton’s Peter Baker, tournament host for the week. The rest of the field, spanning years of success across the European and PGA Tour, are set to be announced imminently.

Event organisers for the event are leading brand agency Champions (UK) plc, who bring the experience of organising the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, at Warwickshire’s Nailcote Hall, for the past 10 years.
