Each year golf fans flock to play in or spectate at one of the most exciting events on the Staysure Tour calendar, the Farmfoods European Senior Masters. Now organisers Champions (UK) plc, promoters for the golf championship, have revealed the dates for 2019.
The four days of golfing action will unfold between Thursday 3– Sunday 6 October, with The Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Warwickshire returning as hosting venue in its 30th anniversary year.
Bringing together professionals and amateurs alike, this is the third year the championship has taken place and will welcome a stellar line-up of Ryder Cup and European Tour legends, with the full player line up yet to be announced.
One name that can be revealed and is leading the line-up is three time European Tour winner, Peter Baker who represented Europe at the 1993 Ryder Cup.
The ever popular Baker will be hosting the Farmfoods European Senior Masters all week at the Forest of Arden inviting many of his close golfing friends to join him for what is always a highlight on the UK golfing calendar.
Also returning is the €200,000 prize fund that is up for grabs for the professionals with the winner taking home €50,000. Last year, the cheque was won by Spaniard Santiago Luna who clinched the title and also saw the likes of 1991 Masters champion Ian Woosnam OBE, French star Jean van de Velde, Six-time European Tour winner Thomas Levet and iconic Italian Ryder Cup hero Costantino Rocca in action.
Thousands of spectators are expected to be in attendance this year and you can get your hands on FREE tickets by registering here
