European Ryder Cup legend Paul McGinley has confirmed his place at this year’s Champions UK plc European Senior Masters.
Taking place from November 6-9 at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club, McGinley will bring one of the game’s most respected leadership resumes to the Legends Tour showcase.
The Irishman is a four-time winner on the European Tour. He famously holed the winning putt at The Belfry in the 2002 Ryder Cup, then captained Europe to a commanding victory at Gleneagles in 2014.
A stalwart of three playing Ryder Cup teams (2002, 2004, 2006) and a vice-captain on multiple occasions, the Dubliner’s influence on European golf spans two decades as a player, captain, analyst and statesman of the sport.
“Paul’s influence on European golf is unmatched, and seeing him compete at the European Senior Masters will be a thrill for fans and partners alike,” said John Hayes, CEO of leading UK speakers’ bureau and tournament sponsors Champions Speakers.
“His pedigree as a champion and leader elevates the event, and we can’t wait to watch him compete at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club this year.”
Known for strategic brilliance and a world-class short game, McGinley remains a compelling draw for audiences.
His presence adds further star power to a field already rich with major champions, Ryder Cup heroes and DP World Tour winners.
