EUROPEAN SENIOR TOUR PROS TO PUT ON JUNIOR CLINIC FOR STARS OF FUTURE

As part of the build-up to the Farmfoods European Senior Masters, three tour professionals will be hosting a junior clinic at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club for sixteen lucky, local kids.

They will have the opportunity to tee it up with tournament host Peter Baker, Britain’s finest amateur player Gary Wolstenholme MBE and former British Masters winner Barry Lane.

The three players will bring a wealth of experience with them to share with the young hopefuls.

Peter Baker has won nine events in total, including three European Tour events, and represented GB&I in the Ryder Cup, where he picked up three out of four points in the losing 1993 side, when he also beat Corey Pavin in the singles.

Barry Lane first played on the European Tour in 1982, and went on to claim five European Tour wins, and six European Senior Tour victories.

Meanwhile, Gary Wolstenholme is famed for his long and illustrious Amateur career, winning the Amateur Championship in 1991 and 2003, and playing in six Walker Cup teams.  Gary actually turned Pro at the age of 48, and has gone on to win three times on the European Senior Tour.

Our sponsors Golf Punk will be participating in the event and supply hats for all participants.
