FARMFOODS EUROPEAN SENIOR MASTERS HIGHLIGHTS TO AIR ON SKY SPORTS GOLF

Following a fantastic week of golfing action at the Forest of Arden in the Farmfoods European Senior Masters we are delighted to announce that anyone that missed out on the event will be able to re-live all of the highlights, with the first show airing on Tuesday 24 October at 8pm on Sky Sports Golf.

A whole host of famous faces from the world of golf took part in the competition including 15 former Ryder Cup players, a record for a Senior Tour event. These included: 1991 Masters winner Ian Woosnam OBE, Sam Torrance OBE, Paul McGinley, Costantino Rocca and tournament host Peter Baker, who also made his European Senior Tour debut.

The week was a huge success and despite adverse weather conditions affecting play on Thursday, which led to the cancellation of the Pro-Am, some high-quality golf was still played. A fiercely fought competition saw two veterans of the European Senior Tour take the lead, with Clark Dennis and Paul McGinley battling it out.

However, it was Welshman Stephen Dodd who clinched victory with an outstanding 40-foot putt on the 18^th enough to secure the win.
