Former European Tour winner and ex-Ryder Cup player and vice-captain, Peter Baker, has been confirmed as the tournament host for this year’s Farmfoods European Senior Masters. Peter returns to the Forest of Arden Country Club & Hotel, following last year’s event, which saw him host the tournament in its inaugural year.
Last year also marked his first event on the Staysure Tour following his 50th birthday. Peter’s career has seen him play all over the world, winning three European Tour and three Challenge Tour events along the way.
Peter’s first Tour win came in the 1988 Benson and Hedges International Open, and he is sure to bring a whole host of golfing experience to this year’s event which takes place between 4–7 October at the Forest of Arden.
A wide-range of big name golfing stars are sure to take part this year, all hoping they can walk away with the coveted Farmfoods European Senior Masters title, which was won by Stephen Dodd at last year’s debut event.
