Ryder Cup icon amongst players revealed for 2025 Champions UK plc European Senior Masters

A card consisting of Ryder Cup, European and Legends Tour winners has been announced for the upcoming Champions UK plc European Senior Masters, in association with Equals Money.

Taking place from November 7-9 at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa, the event acts as a major date in the Legends Tour season run-in, hosted by former Ryder Cup star Peter Baker.

The entry list confirms a field featuring 2014 Ryder Cup Team Europe captain Paul McGinley, as well as Major champion Michael Campbell and senior major winner Stephen Dodd.

Ryder Cup and European Tour standouts are well represented. The likes of Jamie Donaldson, Stephen Gallacher and Niclas Fasth are included under Career Money List exemptions, as is David Drysdale.

The line-up also includes leading 2024 Legends Tour Order of Merit entrants Adilson da Silva and tournament host Baker, alongside consistent performers such as James Kingston, Greig Hutcheon and Robert Coles.

Previous European Tour winners and proven campaigners, Jarmo Sandelin and Phillip Price, add further depth, while tournament winners Markus Brier, Steve Webster and Bo Van Pelt appear among the most recent Legends Tour and Order of Merit winners.

Additional European and international experience comes from Simon Khan, Greg Owen, Bradley Dredge and Phillip Archer, and from continental regulars including Jean-François Remesy, Miguel Ángel Martín and Santiago Luna.

Former PGA and European Open winners, plus long-time tour professionals such as Andrew Oldcorn, Emanuele Canonica, Christian Cévaër and Philip Golding appear on the list, reflecting a strong cross-section of European and Legends Tour experience.

“We are so pleased to see a high-quality field confirmed for La Manga in November,” said John Hayes, CEO of headline sponsor Champions Speakers, a leading UK speakers agency.

“With major and senior major winners alongside Ryder Cup icons like Paul McGinley, Jamie Donaldson and Stephen Gallacher, the tournament brings significant pedigree to the Legends Tour run-in.

“We look forward to hosting players, partners and spectators at a stunning venue in the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa for a competitive week.”

Exemption categories published with the list include past major winners, senior major winners, the top 20 entrants from the 2024 Legends Tour Order of Merit, recent tournament and Order of Merit winners, and further spots via invitations and qualifying school positions.

Winners of European Tour Order of Merit tournaments entering in the year of their 50th birthday and sequential entries from the 2024 Career Money List and 2024 Legends Tour Order of Merit will also compete at the event.
