La Manga Club, XX October 2023.- Golf lovers have an unmissable appointment at the prestigious golf courses of La Manga Club between 2 and 5 November. The distinguished Farmfoods European Senior Masters Championship, one of the most anticipated golf events of the year, is once again held at the sports facilities of the iconic Murcian resort.
Peter Baker, the star of the Ryder Cup and three-time winner on the European Tour, will once again host this renowned men’s tournament for senior players organized by the PGA European Tour. During these dates, great personalities of the exciting world of golf such as Ian Woosnam OBE, Paul Lawrie OBE, Thomas Levet, Gary Evans, Michael Campbell, Thomas Bjorn, Peter Fowler, Adilson da Silva, James Kingston, Simon Khan, Joakim Haeggman , Jarmo Sandelin, Philip Price, Jaev Milkha Singh, Miguel Ángel Martín, Santiago Luna and José Manuel Carriles will compete with the current champion Markus Bier in one of the best golf courses in the world, which has hosted the most illustrious tournaments and professionals of this and other sports such as tennis and football.
The event is pleased to welcome once again Gary Wolstenholme, who has three European Senior Tour wins in his history and an extensive career, and undoubtedly stands out as one of the most distinguished amateur players of all time.
