THOMAS LEVET TO PLAY AT THE FARMFOODS EUROPEAN SENIOR MASTERS

With the Farmfoods European Senior Masters getting underway this week, it has now been announced that French golfing star, Thomas Levet, will make his Staysure Tour debut at the event. Only turning 50 last month, he will join his compatriot, Jean van de Velde at the event.   

Thomas has had an extremely successful career so far, including winning six European Tour events and was the runner-up at the 2002 Open Championship. Thomas’ first win on the European Tour came at the 1998 Cannes Open. He was also a member of Europe’s victorious 2004 Ryder Cup winning team.

Joining Thomas on the course will be a whole host of stars including 1991 Masters winner, Ian Woosnam OBE, European Tour winner, Barry Lane, five times European Tour winner, Jarmo Sandelin, legendary Italian golfer, Costantino Rocca and Ryder Cup star and event host, Peter Baker.

This year’s Farmfoods European Senior Masters gets underway on Thursday 4 October and the four-day event is sure to be a wonderful occasion. With a prize fund worth €200,000 up for grabs, competition is set to be fierce.
